Moab is a half-day drive from the Denver metro area and 3-4 hours from Salt Lake City. Lodging options range from camping to reasonable, family-friendly hotels to 5-start resorts. Weekends in spring and fall get very busy and it is advisable to book well in advance, especially for the Canyonlands Half Marathon and Thelma & Louise Half Marathon. Moab Half Marathon, Inc. does not guarantee lodging to entrants and will not refund registration due to lack of lodging availability or for any other reason.
Connect with others who are looking to buy or sell hotel rooms on Facebook. Find out about available lodging from the Moab Area Travel Council. You can also find information there about what to do while you're in Moab. To book whitewater rafting, canyoneering, mountain biking or jeep tours, visit the Moab Adventure Center. They also have an awesome page that describes the numerous ways to get to Moab.

First time runners should check out the FAQs for their race to find out what to bring, how to get here, and where and when important things are happening on race weekend.
Our half marathon races have time caps due to the courses reopening to traffic. Walkers and slower runners should ensure that they can finish their race within the stated time limit. There is no time cap for the Winter Sun 10K.
There are no transfers and there is no waiting list.
