The race starts at 10:00 AM at the Moab Golf Club (2705 E Bench Rd) and finishes with a lap around the Grand County High School track (608 S 400 E)
Line up at the start according to the pace signs.
Strollers: Participants running with strollers must position themselves at the very back of the start pack, regardless of speed. Double strollers will not fit through the chute funneling runners onto the track! Runners with double strollers will need to leave them at that chute entrance or drop out of the race at that point.
Dogs: Participants running with dogs must position themselves at the very back of the start pack, regardless of speed. Keep control of your dog at all times and ensure they do not interfere with other runners. Due to complaints about participant dogs, the race committee has considered banning them. To ensure this privilege remains, it is up to you to minimize your animal's impact.
The course is mostly downhill or flat.
The course IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC. Runners must run against traffic, on the left-hand side of the road. Race officials will strictly enforce this—anyone running with traffic on the road will be disqualified.
The first mile or so is congested. Pass with care and remember that there may be cars on the course.
Water, Gatorade Endurance Formula, hot drinks and porta-potties are available at the start.
An aid station with water and Gatorade Endurance formula is at Mile 3.
Spectators are encouraged to cheer runners along the Mill Creek Parkway. Due to safety issues, driving or biking the course is highly discouraged.
